hello everyone Ryan here with another 2020 Subaru Outback tip for you in this video I'd like to go over the auto dimming mirror with compass and Homelink features now there's a lot of capabilities that are available in this rear view mirror in this video we're gonna go over just auto dimming we're gonna make separate videos on how to use the home link features and the compass now you know that you have this feature installed because you'll have the buttons here and you'll see the compass now auto dimming works at nighttime when your headlights are on if a if a car comes up behind you with their bright headlights on the system will detect that light and electronically dim the mirror it doesn't actually physically move the mirror it uses LCD technology to electronically dim the mirror and you can actually see where that LCD screen is if you look around the edge of the rear-view mirror you
