all right so i'm gonna be replacing the fan on this hp laptop uh let's see the model number is uh it's a pavilion dv7 the exact model is dv7t-7000 all right so i don't know if you saw but to remove the battery there's this latch here just move it to the left and then you can pull the battery out all right next we're gonna have to remove this bottom cover as well as all the other screws so let's get to doing that all right so to remove the bottom cover there's one screw here all right that screw will be held in place there's a spring and then after you do that you can slide this all the way to the left and it pops this cover down there you go you remove that cover okay we're going to remove all the screws from here so you want to keep all the screws in order if you can because they are different size shapes and lengths you don't want to get them mixed up or you can cause damage to the co
