hello in this video we will show you how to replace your laptop's optical drive with a harddrive so basically it will enable it to have two hard drives or two solid-state drives in your laptop and this is done with the use of a hard drive caddy so so this particular demonstration is for the Lenovo ThinkPad w 540 t 540 and T 4 for TP so first thing we want to do is turn the laptop over shut down and turn the laptop over thus our first step is to remove the bottom cover that way we'll have access to the optical drive so bottom cover is held in by two screws and we just have to let this out okay now that we have the bottom cover removed okay there is a screw it holds in the optical drive so this is where the optical drive is so what we're gonna do is okay loosen that screw which holds the optical drive in place okay so now that we have the screw removed okay there is a metal tab okay which
