Alright.. this is a quick impromptu video on how to do a TRS to DIN MIDI Cable So real quick back story; I ordered an Arturia Beatstep Pro off Reverb.com And it didn't come with the little TRS to DIN MIDI adapter so I've been scouring the internet I'm sure like a lot of other people trying to figure out how to make a hacked one So, this is kind of exploratory if I screw anything up, I'll correct it in the notes. So first off, you need a MIDI cable right, so I just took a MIDI cable and cut it And you get all these wires right here. And then you need your TRS bit..your 3.5mm 1/8 inch jack And I cut one of these guys up.. so you see I have 3 cables.. I've got the black cable.. The red and then the grounding..
