IMPORTANT: If you have a USB Type-C device, that does not mean it's capable of PD. Check your USB-C power supply to ensure it supports Power Delivery (PD).

1.Check your Microsoft Surface Tablet's charging requirements, Using a charger with output power lower than Surface needed, it gets hotter which is very normal because it is running at a higher power.

2. Check your USB-C PD Power Supply's output and voltage: 15V output is must. Some chargers come with 5V, 9V, 12V and 20V, but no 15V output.

3.30W or greater Charger; 36W or greater for Surface Pro and Surface Laptop. (45W or 60W is recommended)

4. Power Delivery (PD) is required for the USB-C power supply. Not all USB C charger work with this cable.

Check the power and voltage of the USB-C PD power supply before use，Some charger outputs 18W (for phone).

If it is lower than 30W, the charging speed will be too slow or the charger will be turned off.

5.Doesn't support data transfer or video output.

NOTE:DO NOT use a USB charger / power bank and USB to USB Type-C adapter, they do not support PD.
