hello YouTube so this video is all about how to make the low profile XLR and ta 3 or ta 5 connectors this same process can be applied to other kinds of connectors as well and the basic principles are the same and I've run you through them now so these are the things in question that we're talking about here these are I'm some TA threes and they have a exit on the right side that's been drilled there so this is kind of what the fuss is all about the reason why you might want this is in situations where they need to be low profile so in the instance of a sound recordists sound bag it's very important to have not a lot of cable poking out of the sides when they actually go into a bag and so as you can see these excel ours have the wire exit on the side the back are then filled in with epoxy resin and what it creates is a very low profile setup so it's great the obviously the downsides to i
