welcome back legends i hope you're all fantastic the good saint brian has sent over yet another curious piece of rack mounted gear this one bears the iconic lexicon badge but it's one of their lesser known units the mpx-100 this thing is tiny and light and kind of i don't know cute doesn't have any lcd menus or deep tweaking or anything it's basically just a preset machine you have a bunch of knobs for input and output levels including effect balance and then you have this algorithm select knob there's a bunch of single voice and a bunch of dual voice algorithms and then an adjust control there's tap tempo on there you can store presets it has midi in and out as well as spdif out so there's actually a digital out that's kind of cool but these were very much developed for home studios in like the mid to late 90s before computers and plugins and all those kind of things were widely availa
