hey Louie I know this isn't the exact same model that you guys but you do see it does have that similar setup where it has the bar that kind of goes over or in front of where the actual leads are you just want to make sure that you do have the female side or the negative side you do want to make sure that side is going here so this octagonal side of the one has a flared ends make sure that that's going in the negative side and then you just want to kind of slide it in at an angle and see if you can make those leads touch and then push down and then it should actually do that so making sure that the actual female side of the flared end is on the negative side and then just sliding it in I think if you do try to do it the other way it might not even go in yeah if you flip it around it won't even go in at all so give that a try and hope that helps
