on how to loosen an overly tensioned roll a lot of times when labels are really small and the tension is very high some of the adhesive will lose out of the edges and they will lift up onto the ribbon because there's a little bit of adhesive around the edges of the label it it's a primarily a problem with really small labels so in order to alleviate that problem there's two steps one is to loosen the printhead pressure and the other one is to sort of loosen the tension on the roll so that as we get later in the roll the problem becomes less likely to happen now this one's really really highly tension you can see if I push in the center of the core here that roll does not budge or move at all so what we're going to do is we're gonna take this outer this outer strip here and we're going to basically create a little bit of a gap as we come around and that'll start like this and then I will
