hey I'm jr. and I'm here in the video studio today with the audio engine HD six powered bookshelf speakers you may be familiar with their smaller brother the HD 3s this is more of a near-field monitor designed to go right there next to your computer that's not what the HD sixes are they're a little bit different they're bigger they're a lot bigger the cabinet is still internally braced rigidly built MDF covered with a very nice veneer you have a couple colors to choose from you can go with walnut or cherry or black and there is a rear firing port on the back so you're going to get bass tuned down to about 50 Hertz solid hard-hitting accurate bass just don't put them too close to a wall in the back the front of them looks so good because of this nice magnetic grill which when I remove reveals the five and a quarter inch Kevlar mid-range and woofer and the one inch silk dome tweeter those
