teensy is a line of Arduino compatible development boards made by a company called pj RC and we really like to use these here because they're much faster than the baseline Arduino boards and they have a ton of i/o programming the teensy boards is really simple because they've written this really nice bootloader and Arduino add-on so all you have to do is plug this into your USB port and then install the TT Duino add-on and you upload from Arduino the same way you would with any of the other Arduino boards every time that PJ RC releases a new teensy board they seem to get faster and faster the clock speed on the three point one and three point two maxed out at 72 megahertz the three point five and three point six however cariann in XP kinetise cortex m4 chip which pushes the maximum clock speed to 120 megahertz on the 3.5 and a whopping 180 megahertz on the three point six other features
