TELEFUNKEN TDA-2 Active Stereo Direct Box

it's day 2 of the AES show and I'm here on the Telefunken booth with Ryan who's got a collection of DI boxes which makes a change from their other glorious microphones these also look rather clever so please tell me why you have four of them and what they will do so yeah we're releasing four new di models here this is kind of a new avenue for Telefunken to go with essentially we are doing mono and dual packages of both a new passive design as well as an active FET design so essentially we wanted to create just real true transformer based D eyes the passive has a large format iron core transformer and essentially wanted to make something that you know the more you drive the more kind of saturated transformer tone you get it can taking up pretty high levels and this is gonna be great for anything with active pickups you know you might drive that with a high output keyboard or digital effe
