Telex PH-88 - Headset (semi-Open)

hey everybody welcome back to recordology all right i'm going to focus on more showing more doing less talking on this show because we got a lot to get to so what i thought we would do is do a little comparison between two cassette decks on the bottom here we have the 1996 era pioneer and on the top we have the late 80s i think it's 1987. technics deck they're both consumer entry-level decks they both are fully operational they're both doing a great job so what we're going to do is we're going to record the same song on a fresh virgin cassette tape it's going to be a type 1 ferric oxide tape i want to keep the playing field even this one on the bottom has dolby b and c but this one only has dolby b so we're going to be using dolby b with type 1 tape because this one does not adjust eq depending on the tape formulation whereas this one does so we're going to keep it even playing field an
