hello I'm Rob Pugh and I'm Xterra tools ambassador and today I want to talk to you about tether tools and their cables and accessories but we'll start on the cable why should you use X heavy tools cable well your camera it normally comes with a meter long USB cable in the garden that's brilliant for just transferring images or charging your camera but it isn't designed for tethering why is that well when you put that into your camera if you did do tethering you're already limited to just a meter from your computer and when you take a picture there will be a delay in the image going from your camera to the computer so this brings me onto tether tools cables now pivotal cables they they come in orange and they come in black the reason for the orange is in a studio environment if they're on the floor and you've got them plugged into the extension leads then they're just high visible so you
