The Advent Book

For unto you is born this day, in the City of David, a savior who is Christ the Lord. In the beginning God made everything good. There was no evil, pain, or death. Everything was very good. But an evil serpent whispered lies and when people believed those lies everything shattered. All seemed lost but God spoke a promise: one day a son would come to crush evil forever. Through the centuries people waited, longing for the promised son who would make all things good and new again. Then, in the fullness of time, he came. This king was special. He can bless all the families of the earth. This Christmas celebrate the birth of our rescuer. As a family, remember why Jesus came.
