hello miles hit from tekzilla today I'm going to be telling you about our simple music player for dementia now we all love listening to music but it's got a particularly therapeutic effect for people with dementia now some studies have been done and you might find this with your family member or loved one but when they listen to music perhaps from from their past that they might become more vocal or more elated perhaps more facial expressions and generally you can just see sometimes more cognitive activity going on when they realize that familiar music or those familiar sounds the interesting thing for some people also is that increased level of cognitive awareness sometimes goes on after the music has stopped and sometimes you find yourself being able to perhaps have a conversation with somebody or just seeing a little bit more of their personality come out because the music they liste
