Product review & video
10 years this is an older swing road bike of mine it's a 684 from the paramount design group and if you notice something interesting on here there is no seat post clamp at all that's because this uses a different type of seat post called a quill seat post or expansion seat post let me show you how it works there's like a little thing up here that I can use to unlock it just turn that that way and I pull this out and it's got like a little quill on here similar to what you find on a quill stem on like older bikes like that by turning this it pulls this up and locks this inside the seat to there now real common I really make them anymore one of the problems with this one here is it's it's got a crack in it and a lot these were very prone to cracking here and you can sometimes find replacements on eBay but they tend to be very expensive and again they're still prone to cracking like this s
