this is how you properly crimp a alligator clip to a wire first of all you strip the wire to the proper length and that's usually about 3/8 of an inch okay we're going to do both sides of this okay that one may be a little short but it'll work so we're going to do the improper way first which we're going to insert the wire in make sure it's all the way past the alligator clip and grab it from the back crimp squeeze hard you'll see there's a nice indentation in the back now what we're going to do is we're going to do the other side and what you should do is you should take the wire fold it over the outer jacket take the clip insert it inside the barrel and then do the per frame perform the same crimp as we did before and now you asked why is this important you can't pull this off but if you grab the other side and you give a little tug it'll come off so that's why you want to fold the wi
