To prevent overheating, do not let the lighter lighting downwards at angle equals or more than 45 degrees, and no continuous burning for more than 2 minutes. The lighter will not function when the lighter head is perpendicular to the floor. To avoid risk of damage to lighter, always protect lighter from any crash impact and never allow it to drop onto floor or hard surfaces. Never use the lighter when it appears to be damaged.
