hi welcome to Samsung's video how to guides my name is Chris and I'm going to show you how to calibrate your laptop's battery when you charge and discharge the battery repeatedly over a short time the battery indicator can become miscalibrated and indicate a remaining battery charge that's greater than the actual charge when this happens you can completely recalibrate the battery charge indicator by discharging the battery using the battery calibration function and then recharging it this can take about three to four hours or so with a fully charged battery so I recommend performing the calibration when the battery is less than half charged or right before you go to bed first turn off your laptop and disconnect the AC power adapter now turn on your laptop and when the Samsung logo appears press the f2 key to enter the BIOS setup once you're in the BIOS setup use your left or right arrow
