Description
The new formula for Dr. Sandra Cabot's Triple B-12 Dots facilitate the absorption of Vitamin B-12 directly into the blood stream. The sublingual dots are placed under the tongue for immediate entrance into the circulatory system. It is formulated with three forms of B-12 for greater absorption and even release. B-12 is essential for the production of red blood cells, which carry oxygen to all parts of the body, decreasing the risks of anemia. B-12 is also important for the production of nerve cell linings for a better functioning nervous system. In the stomach there is an Intrinsic Factor - a protein that aids in the absorption of B-12 from the small intestine. As we age, there is a decrease in the amount of Intrinsic Factor produced, resulting in B-12 deficiencies. Vegan and/or vegetarian diets that do not include meat or dairy products increase the risk of B-12 deficiencies (B-12 is found in animal meats and dairy products). Excessive alcohol intake can lead to Vitamin B-12 deficiency. B-12 is stored in the liver and when alcohol is substituted for food B-12 deficiencies occur.
