In a previous video, I introduced the Manual Test feature. In this video, I'll look at one of the more advanced facilities within Manual Test: Automatic Ramping. In Manual Test, you can use the rotary dial to adjust values while you're generating. So, we can set up a fault here, and we can simply press "Fault", start turning the dial, and it injects more and more current until the relay trips, ending the test. I have a footswitch hooked up to input 1, simulating the relay under test. Now that is a way to do it, and it's very hands-on, very manual, very straightforward.
