hello everybody I have an interesting turntable that I thought we could take a look at so this turntable came in from a customer and he was saying the high end doesn't sound like it should do and wondered if I could take a look and I noticed that he had Van Damme audio cables on their microphone instrument cables I know a lot of people say that they're not good for use on turntables so I thought of a way to test this and I brought this record which has a frequency sweep and my idea was we would record a frequency sweep on the turntable and then replace the cables so I have some original techniques cables here and we'll swap them over and we'll compare but I wanted to work out my method for testing so that is what we're going to do first and I've done it and I think it will work in a way that will show the differences so first of all we're going to record the test tone on the customer's
