[Music] hey guys just go have a look at some DC Jackson in particular the switch to DC Jack it's important to understand how that DC jack works to understand how the off board wiring scheme of the guitar pedal works so before we do that let's just take a look at an on switch Jack you'll understand why they're called switched and non switched soon what's hopefully by the time we get to the end of the video the non switch jacks are the easiest is no switching inside you plug your DC power in and you will get nine volts on you'll get you'll get depending on how the how the DC power is wired up you'll get Plus on one and minus on the other so let's just whack that in there like this and you can see I have them backwards because it's coming up with negative nine point nine nine volts that's a bit higher I have to adjust my power supply there's a severe it's it's got an adjustment on the outp
