hiI'm Peg from Sony and I'm going to show you what to do if you receive an error message that your Vaio battery is not installed properly or is not compatible with the computer the first thing to do when you are presented with this error is to shut down the pc completely once the pc shuts down remove the battery and make sure it is a Sony branded battery Sony strongly recommends using only official Sony Vaio batteries and AC adapters for your Vaio laptop make sure you're Sony AC adapter is getting power by checking the power led on the adapter brick it should light up green when the adapter is plugged into a working outlet now with the Sony AC adapter plugged into your laptop start the pc without the battery in place it should boot to Windows as normal this will make sure that there is not a problem with the DC input jack if your laptop will not start with the battery removed you can vi
