so we're going to boot this machine up to show why the screen needs replacing at all you will see that someone had put this in a bag with too much weight on top and so we get the Thunderbolt on the top there which you can see it's some angles better than others but when the screen finally comes up in the full backlit form you'll see that this becomes clearly unacceptable see you can't get work done with then so it must go the required tools to change this or a Swiss Army knife a number zero Phillips head and a t8 Torx and a little bucket to put the screws in so here we go there are little rubber tabs on top of all the screws in the front panel these will pull off with the blade of a Swiss Army knife very easily they're just glued on there's six or eight of them and the screws are only on the front side of the bezel there are no screws at all on the outside edges of this plastic so these
