good afternoon my name is kathy brandon and i'm here to talk to you about steam across the curriculum how can you integrate steam into all of your core classes and throughout the arts so let's get started [Music] how to engage students in projects for all areas steam incorporates science technology engineering art and mathematics now most people are familiar with stem but the steam piece is a little bit new with the a the arts are an integral part of steam because we have students who struggle on a daily basis in their core classes and don't feel success much of the day but when you allow them to work with their hands to innovate to create to become part of a process they have this engagement and buy-in to their education that is different than when they sit in a classroom necessarily listening to a lecture or trying to work through worksheets or problems on paper and pencil they will b
