if you're watching this video odds are you want to work out how to hook up one of these to one of these you're only going to need a couple of different connections but you need to work out which type of connection your monitor uses and then you're in business luckily I've got both kinds with me right now if you need a third option I'll explain that a little bit later let's check it out this is my 4k Acer monitor as you can see there's three different types most lower resolution monitors so full HD ones for example probably won't have the DisplayPort and if you're not sure what is what simply go over to the back of the monitor and look at the actual labeling usually they're labeled the DVI is this one this is the older generation technology and we have a HDMI connection and that's the DisplayPort so whatever you currently plugged into that's what you're gonna have to find as an adapter w
