hello everyone welcome to our quick learning video series as you know there are many hard drives and drive technologies commonly available in the marketplace it would be nice if you could identify the drive technology and the drive types were merely expecting and looking at them one way to do this quickly is to know what the hard drive connectors look like for the common drives that are sold in the market these days in this video I'm gonna show you the common drive connectors and with this information you should be able to identify the type of drive you have in your hand let's start this is an IDE drive with an IDE 40 pin connector please note that a little site connector is for jumpers to make the ID drives behave as master or slave so the cable just goes into the approximately 2 inch connector that you see the next the next drive connector is an 80 pin scuzzy drive I have a tape measu
