Alex what's turned down major projects flexi this is Chris the Idaho painter here on home improvement how to's today we're going to be doing a tape test and see which take performs best when it comes to the paint bleeding through the tape which one blocks the paint from bleeding I've got multiple different tapes up here that we're going to be putting up here and I'm going to show you the process I'm going to be painting over it with PPP over with cashmere the walls themselves are kind of us maybe a semi rough wall they're orange peel texture and that's pretty common up here rap I would say probably 60 to 70 percent of the homes have an orange peel texture another very common texture is some valley texture and it's very rare that we see smooth wall textures so this tape test is going to be performed on a kind of semi rough orange peel texture walls have been painted multiple times I'm go
