and I am about to do a repair on a Lind Auto Adapter, part number 1555655, I believe, but this should work for most any similar form
auto adapter. This power port right here, as you can see the one inside is bad- just use
a flathead screwdriver. Push hard on the crack between the top plate and the base.
Once you get it the whole way around, you can usually pop it off. There you can see
it from the inside. Grab that thing with pliers. Twist and pull. You'll expose the
pins and the internals of the port. Then take your soldering pencil and your
tweezers or pliers, grab each post from the underside. Warm it up at the top.
Twist and pull it out, but it comes right out once you have it warmed up there. I
usually do the front then the side then the back from the way you're facing. Just
