welcome to the TR hike on YouTube channel your two-way radio communication source hi I'm Tim Davis and today I'll be discussing some tips and maintenance for your non impressed batteries this will help you get the most out of your batteries and ensure your two-way radios are operating more efficiently firstly there is a simple check to determine what type of battery you're using there is a sticker located on the battery that shows what type of battery it is here you will see the battery type and if there is no mention of impress then it is a standard non impressed battery so determining the battery capacity can be done quite easily when the radio is connected there are two ways if you are using a radio with a display and for this demonstration I am using a GP 3 3 8 LS which does it will show you the current charge level on the battery level indicator with a low battery being represented
