okay so I wanted to demonstrate today the difference between a mat versus glossy screen so in order to do this I have on left hand side a MacBook Pro and on the right hand side a little bow ThinkPad x1 carbon now the MacBook Pro has a glossy screen well I think that x1 carbon has what's called a matte screen or anti glare so here's a here's a fast way to demonstrate so right now you don't see any reflections in these screens because they're right behind them is a blank white wall however if I walk in front of the MacBook Pro like I'm about to do you'll see me with my camera now I've I ship me on over to the ThinkPad x1 carbon all you kind of see is a silhouette of myself so the MacBook Pro with the glossy screen is reflective while the ThinkPad x1 carbon where the matte screen is non reflective now why is that a benefit well the non reflective nature will help if you're going to be star
