guys you have caught me in a very good mood long story short i basically have been fiddling with this for a while and have now determined that it's probably the usb port on it in fact when i say probably it definitely is so now i want to put on a new port and the problem i have of course is that my replacement usb port not any shorter it's pretty much different in every combination and they might require a much longer usb gauge so that's fine we're just going to deal with that when we have to we've got different options to try to dissolve this we could probably use heat that would be the best way but i'm uh i'm feeling reckless we see if we can take this off using just a soldering iron i'm going to put this up to maximum this is 380 in fact it's not maximum but i'd maximum will be too much 380 degrees let's see if we can get some heat into this bad boy and then just lift it off let's se
