Ok so the other day I soldered these aviation panel mounts which are going to be for the limit switches. You can see I tucked one of the wires away – there’s no point buying more (three core) wire when I’ve got so much of these stuff. And when I was doing these the soldering process finally clicked. And I realised what I had done wrong with the ones for the stepper motors. Like an idiot or in a moment of desperation I even squirted a bit of hot glue between into the space between the different pins. I wasn’t happy with how I soldered these – it wasn’t particularly great, so I think I’m going to re-do them and I’m going to make a video showing you how I finally overcame my issues with soldering aviation panel mounts.
