with all my handheld radios have always tried to get and use desktop chargers I found them very convenient to use it's a simple case of just dropping your rig in there and off it goes charging I recently bought the a su ft2 day well I got the hand towels it doesn't come with a desktop charger there is a charge at available from Yasu which is the CD - 41 rapid desktop charger there are a couple of hand towels that can be charged with this charger one of those is the Asus VX 8 G and the other is the FT 2-day the normal method of charging the FT 2d that I have is by plugging the charger in the side of the Ring this works fine but does take quite a while to charge the batteries charge in that way the LCD screen shows his rate of charge and red LED on the top of the rig with the CD 41 rapid charger you can use the wall charger that came with urug although this will charge but it will not cha
