Valcom Metal Black Box for 8" Ceiling Speaker

I came from audio talk so what I want to address is for these ceiling and wall speakers should you use a back box I say you should and the reason is that the box even though these speakers here are designed for infinite baffle and then I will still use a box and the thing is that an infinite baffle or a closed sealed enclosure it's kind of like the same values that you need for that you need what's called a high qts you need a a speaker driver that kind of lingers a little bit once it gets an impulse and that's what these can do but so the box will assist you to have more momentum it simply builds up more power in the throw from the box and then the and then the vacuum of the box is going to help limit the throw as well so that as the the cone goes out it's going to be limited by the by the vacuum inside of the the bars so so that's that's why that you can put more power to it that deca
