look at 1.2 problems 8 through 12. it talks about claire's expenses and i understand the confusion because right off the bat it says these are her fixed expenses and really i need to get rid of that word because these are just her expenses but for question eight we're not concerned about her expenses we just want to uh know how much does she make a month well this says that she makes 1254.50 bi-weekly bi-weekly is every other week but we cannot just take it times two to get to monthly okay that is not okay and some of you did that and it doesn't come out well what we have to do is expand this bi-weekly to yearly and then bring it back to monthly meaning bi-weekly means every two weeks we have a paycheck every two weeks not the same as bi-monthly bi-monthly is twice a month you could expand by monthly times two but every two weeks is not the same as twice a month and so we have to unders
