everyone Mike Stokes here with lush planet design/build and today I want to make a video about drainage plane and how to put vertical wood siding on your building we want to start off today by just talking about the drainage plane most people don't realize that the siding is not what protects the house from walk it's actually the drainage plane behind it so this is tar paper the felt tar paper and what we've done is we used two layers of 30 pounds of L and the reason that we'll use to penetrate through the drainage plane it makes a potential place where you can leave with a great thing about the felt paper is that it kind of seals around them that way better than a tie back for another type of fabric type type of drainage so that's why our preferred method is to use this tar paper and the other thing I'd like to say about the drainage plane is that way to think about it when you're seal
