Victor Arcair 01082002 K4000 Extreme Air Carbon Arc Gouging Torch Only works efficiently with the natural angles and movements of the arm and wrist. Reliable torch design has been and continues to be the market leader for over 60 years. Natural 15 degree torch angle provides greater operator comfort. Positive grip handle gives greater operator feel and ease in positioning torch. Durable front insulators features high impact, heat resistance and protects the torch metal parts. Rugged construction overall can withstand harsh environments. Heavy-duty insulators, lever, and handle that are all made from fiberglass reinforced thermoset polyester molding compound to withstand the heat and be impact resistant. Forged 1-piece brass alloy body machined to close tolerances on the valve and head seat. Head assembly machined from copper alloy having 4 air holes optimizing the air flow to the arc. Lever spring rated at 225 pounds per inch providing excellent clamping pressure on the air carbon-arc electrode. Industrial applications include heavy-duty fabrication, shipyards, railroads and foundries. Amperage capacity is up to 1000 amps. Carbon electrode range for pointed and jointed is 5/32 to 1/2 inch, flat is 3/8 by 5/32 inch and 5/8 by 3/16 inch, and half round is 3/8 by 5/32 inch. Air requirement pressure is 80 PSI. Flow rate is 25 CFM. Overall weight is 1.95 pounds.
