activate a relay to trigger lights doors cameras and more with the ldb-3 ring and loop detector board [Music] viking model ldb-3 detects off-hook status and ringing line voltage on analog phone lines fxs ports analog extensions it has a one-on-board relay that activates when these circumstances are met a disable input allows for a contact trigger to prevent relay activation and there's a 12 to 15 volt dc switched output that coordinates with the relay programming the ldb-3 consists of three dip switches dip switches one and three toggle between ring detection loop detection and a detection of both conditions that would be for cases where you want the trigger to activate when the phone is ringing and for the duration of the phone being off hook dip switch number two toggles ring cadence mode and what that means is the relay opens and closes in coordination with the analog ringing voltage
