[MUSIC PLAYING] For some time at UV Athletics, we knew we would have to update our marks and logos, especially for broadcast. I'd see the ACC, and they'd list all the logos. Most were bold and dynamic and vibrant, and then there was the V saber. Not only was it toward the end, but it was kind of subtle. So when the opportunity presented itself to work with Nike, we decided to work together to see what we could create. I think what's so amazing about athletic branding is the emotional tie that it has to the fan base and alumni. We want it to look great, but we also want to be authentic. When Nike came to visit with us, wow, was it fun. They asked us a lot of questions about what makes this place special, what do we value, why did we come to UVA.
