The new SXD2 Mount has a greater loading capacity, than previous Sphinx Mounts, and is more rigid enabling a steady platform for astrophotography. The quiet Stepping motors ensure you of smooth, quiet slewing with quick response to commands. The new Star Book Ten, available previously on the SXP Mount, features an intuitive Star Chart Go-To System on a high definition LCD Screen. Features include night vision screen, hibernate mode, VPEC and PPEC, and optional built in auto guider. The RA and DEC Axes are made of sturdy steel with brass wheel gears. The mount can carry loads of up to 50 lbs. (including counterweights) for astrophotography. The inside of the new SXD2 is very different from the previous SX Mounts. Bearings have been added to the shafts of the RA and DEC axes and the screw gear shafts. The worm screw gears are inspected for strict concentricity and are lapped in the whole-circle for smooth movement. Includes HAL130SXG Tripod The high definition SD lens in Vixen's ED103S Refractor Telescope gives excellent optical performance in a short optical tube for easy handling. The new SD lenses feature brighter images from the shorter f/7.7 focal ratio and capture crisp, pinpoint star images for your eye’s enjoyment. Vixen's ED glass produces clear and high contrast viewing, virtually free of false color. Vixen's lenses focus the full visible spectrum of visible light to a critical point much more accurately than past ED products. The ED103S Refractor's lenses are almost free of chromatic aberration in all colors and are critically sharp edge to edge. The astro-photographer will be especially pleased with the high contrast images through this telescope. hi I'm Sean Lee with vixen optics and today we're in the Vixen optics warehouse to demonstrate how to use the star book 10 now on this particular setup I have the BMC 330 with the axd map but this will work on any of the go-to mounts like the S XP or the S XD to I will go through and demonstrate how to use all the functions of the star book now including setup in the go to process but also astrophotography and auto guiding it's a very good auto button system ok na the go-to mounts by a vixen I have the starbuck 10 now for the initial scope setup I have another video that i will have linked to the bottom of this video that shows the old sxw but the setup is pretty much the same balancing the telescope and aligning in north so watch that video for the actual physical setup on this video we'll just go into the star book itself ok so once the starbuck 10 is initialized you'll come up with y
