optic exotica here and i am back on this rather chilly day in northern california i'm reviewing the vortex razer hds which apparently according to the company it's the pinnacle of optical okay these binoculars are not the pinnacle of optical engineering they're rather good but i don't know how they come up with this kind of over-the-top advertising direct if there's one thing that annoys me about the vortex company and this is really like the the ford motor company of optics right i mean it's decent quality optics and uh and they're dependable and sometimes they break on you and they're not the best in the world uh but they're still good um it's a ford right is is their advertising is just out of this world over the top i mean come on pinnacle of optical engineering uh delivers the ultimate combination of advanced optical technologies and premium components i don't know what they're thi
