this is Eugene Andrew rich on the laptop screen back and lay on the website is www.hs calm today we have a HP Pavilion dv6 - 6000 series laptop computer with a cracked screen and I'm going to show you how to replace a cracked screen on this laptop now before we get started a little bit about the dv6 its own model line of HP's been making for awhile now and its gone through several design changes and each design change has a different procedure so we have a video for the previous series model is the TV 6 - 3000 and I believe it de 6 - 4000 series is the same and then there's also a DV 6 - 1000 series once again that will have a different perhaps a different screen and also different procedure so uh the DV 6 - 6000 series it came out in mid 2011 and the way can tell it to be sticks - 6000 it has this silver strip for silver prefer a strip on the front and the screen assembly sits slightly
