howdy everyone i'm back at it again it's a beautiful spring day here in north dakota and i'm out here at the river we're going to try for some pike and musky today the water level does look a little bit low out here right now it's actually been at record low levels all spring they did finally crank open the dam a little bit though there's actually about 10 times as much water coming out of the dam as there was a week ago so i'm hoping that has the fish a little bit more cooperative willing to bite right now it's late may the pike should be well over spawn water temp is up to about 60 degrees and i'm hoping we can get them to hit top water i'm gonna throw the crazy snake lure at him today so this should be fun i'm gonna move my truck off the boat launch here real quick and we'll hop in the kayak head out there and see what we can catch let's go get them i think i'm going to start off by
