hi in this video I will upgrade the firmware of a single watch guard I use a watch guard t30 with firmware 12.1 normally I prefer the watch guard system manager but upgrading the firmware is much easier via the web interface first I login as admin you in the menu click on system and then on upgrade OS the system will now check if a new version of the firmware is available all right there's a new version I select them and click on upgrade the download starts depending on the bandwidth this process takes a short moment after the new firmware is installed a reboot is required you the reboot takes a few minutes depending on the system my t30 takes 13 minutes to restart so don't get nervous of course the firmware can also be updated via the system manager however this is much more complex first you have to log on to watch guard comm select the right box and download the correct firmware then
