Either way, it will keep liquids cold twice as long as conventional water bottles. This water bottle is constructed of LDPE #4, a durable, lightweight, and most importantly FDA approved material that complies with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act. Unlike many plastic water bottles these do not contain Bisphenol-A (BPA) or any harmful phthalates. As disposable water bottles are a serious landfill and recycling issue, Polar Bottle provides a practical and environmentally friendly alternative. A foil layer reflects solar rays resulting in additional thermal protection to keep liquids cold. This bottle also fits standard bicycle water bottle cages and features a removable carrying strap so you can "take the bear" everywhere. The wide mouth design allows for ice cubes and makes cleaning easy. The urethane drinking valve is removable for cleaning as well.
