[Music] hello and welcome back to another tres valley production my name is Luke so up until relatively recently I had always ridden your kind of bog-standard aluminium drop handlebars on on my road bikes and I never really saw any reason to kind of to change or revise that so aluminium handlebars are cheap they're comfortable and then lightweight as well and another benefit is if you're kind of riding along and you and you crash or you you fall off and your bike hits the deck aluminium is quite robust so the bars don't really take much damage and even if they do you can kind of bend them back out so yeah I'd always ridden aluminium bars and I never really saw a reason to change them so I just assumed that Carbon handlebars were a bit of a pointless luxury with no sort of real tangible benefit over there aluminium counterparts other than kind of nudging you ever closer towards the all t
