WHY USE THE ROUTER RADIATION PROTECTIVE POUCH ? This product is designed to minimize your EMF Radiation exposure coming from your home router. An average home router can emit up to 2000 Microwatt/m2 (0.2 Microwatt/cm2) of radiation. These levels of radiation fall in the Severe/Extreme risk categories according to several scientific studies held worldwide over couple of decades. (See BioInitiative reference below).
When your Wi-Fi router is in the protective pouch, you no longer need to turn it off. The power density emitted from the router is reduced from Severe/Extreme to Slight to None (Per the Building Biology Evaluation Guidelines), thus creating an environment deemed safe amongst leading Building Biologists and RF scientists.
HOW TO USE ?
Simply insert your Wi-Fi router inside the pouch. If you prefer, you can ground the pouch with the help of a certified electrotechnician (we do not provide grounding kits, it is just a recommendation and the item shields equally well whether grounded or not).
HOW IT WORKS AND WHY IS IT SAFE ? The pouch works by absorbing the radiation (RF) emitted by the router and turning it into warmth/heat. The amount of warmth/heat generated is negligible and you won’t even notice the pouch getting warm/hot. However it is important to keep the pouch openly in the room and not inside a cupboard or other enclosed box. (Per your Router’s Operation Instructions).
